ABBYY Aligner 2.0
- Translation alignment with ABBYY Aligner 2.0
ABBYY Aligner 2.0 uses sophisticated algorithms to break down the source text and its translation into fragments. Aligning consists in placing a source text fragment and its matching translation side by side. As a result, you get aligned parallel texts made up of bilingual text lines. Every line consists of a fragment of a source text paired with the matching fragment of the translation text. - Adjusting results
The alignment results can be adjusted if required: you can split and merge lines and fragments, move fragments up and down, match fragments manually, and edit the original and its translation. - Saving a project
You can save the project you are working on in an internal format of ABBYY Aligner 2.0 (ATA) and resume your work later. - Exporting results and creating Translation Memory for further use in CAT-tools
Once all the necessary adjustments are made, the results can be exported into TMX file(Translation Memory format), which is supported by virtually all CAT-tools. The result also can be exported into RTF file.
